Frequently Asked Questions

Your Questions,

Answered in One Place

We want you to feel comfortable and informed before we clean your home, so we’ve gathered answers to the questions we hear most often about our services, scheduling, cleaning process, and policies.

Getting Ready for Your Cleaning

No. Most of our clients aren’t home while we clean, and our crew is able to work more efficiently when the home is empty. As long as we have a reliable way to access your home, you can go about your day and we’ll take care of the cleaning while you’re away.

Normal family mess is part of what we’re there to help with, so there’s no reason to clean before we arrive. We do ask that clothes, toys, papers, and personal belongings are picked up enough for our crew to reach the surfaces we’re scheduled to clean, and that dishes are cleared from the sink since dishwashing isn’t part of our service. If possible, we also recommend planning to be out while we clean because it’s safer and allows our crew to work more efficiently.
Before your cleaning, let us know the best way for our crew to get into your home and share any gate codes, parking instructions, or other details we’ll need when we arrive. If you won’t be home during the cleaning, we’ll also make sure we know how you’d like your home secured when we’re finished.
Friendly pets are welcome to stay home as long as they’re comfortable and can safely be around our crew and equipment. If your pet is anxious around new people or vacuums, protective of the home, or likely to slip out an open door, keeping them in a secure area while we’re there is usually best. Please also tell us their name, anything we should know about them, and whether we’re allowed to give them a treat.

Your Cleaning Service

We’ve put together a detailed cleaning checklist so you can see exactly what’s included in your service, from the kitchen and bathrooms to bedrooms and common areas. You can view the full checklist on our Residential Cleaning page, and we’ll make sure your service is clear before your first visit.

Cleaning time varies depending on the size of your home, the service scheduled, and what needs attention that day. We usually send a three-person crew, although you may occasionally see two cleaners or a larger team when the size of the home or scope of the cleaning calls for it.

We offer weekly, biweekly, and monthly recurring cleaning, and the right frequency depends on your household and the routine that works best for your home. If you aren’t sure where to start, we’ll talk through both options with you when preparing your quote.

Our residential services are designed around keeping your home consistently cared for with weekly, biweekly, or monthly cleaning. If your home needs some extra attention before recurring service begins, let us know when you request your quote and we’ll talk through the best way to get started.

Move-in and move-out cleaning isn’t part of our residential cleaning service. Our focus is on weekly, biweekly, and monthly recurring cleaning for homes that are currently being lived in.

If you’d like to add or change something about your cleaning, contact our office rather than asking the crew directly. We’ll confirm whether the request falls within our service scope and make sure the team has the time and information they need before arriving at your home.

Products, Equipment & What We Clean

Yes. Our crew brings the cleaning products, tools, and equipment needed for your service, so everything we need will arrive with us. We use our own products and equipment because our team knows how they work and where they can be safely used throughout your home, so we don’t use cleaning products or equipment provided by homeowners.

We use a consistent set of cleaning products selected for the different surfaces and cleaning needs throughout your home, and our team knows how and where each product should be used. If someone in your household has an allergy, sensitivity, or concern about a particular product, let us know before your cleaning so we can talk through it with you.

The inside of refrigerators and cabinets isn’t included in our residential cleaning service. Interior oven cleaning may be available as a one-time add-on, so contact our office if you’d like to include it and we’ll let you know what’s available for your cleaning.

Dishes, laundry, and organizing aren’t included in our standard cleaning service, which allows our crew to keep their time focused on the cleaning scheduled for your home.

Window cleaning isn’t part of our residential cleaning service, although we do clean the glass on doors that lead outside, including sliding glass doors and glass back doors.

Our Team & Your Home

You’ll often see familiar faces, although we don’t assign each home to one individual cleaner. Everyone on our team follows the same cleaning process and company standards, which allows us to keep your service consistent when schedules or team availability change.

Yes. Team members who enter clients’ homes undergo background checks as part of our Hurricane City business licensing requirements.

Yes. Flawless Finish Cleaning Crew is insured while our crew is working in your home.

We take care while working in your home, but accidents can happen. If we notice that something was damaged during your cleaning, we’ll reach out, and if you notice something afterward, please contact our office within 24 hours so we can review what happened and work through the next steps with you. Pre-existing damage and normal wear aren’t covered.

Your satisfaction matters to us. Our Happy Home Guarantee means that if something wasn’t cleaned the way you expected, please contact us within 24 hours. We’ll return as soon as we can to take care of it at no additional charge. We appreciate the opportunity to address any concerns and make sure you feel confident in the care you’re receiving.

Pricing, Payments & Policies

Pricing depends on the size of your home, your cleaning needs, and how often you’d like us to come. We’ll provide a personalized quote before you begin service so you’ll know what your cleaning will cost before anything is scheduled.

We keep a valid card securely on file and charge it according to your service agreement, so payment is taken care of after each visit without requiring cash or a check.

If something comes up and you need to change your cleaning, contact our office as soon as you can. Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your cleaning. Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a $50 fee.

No. Our residential cleaning doesn’t require a long-term contract, so you can continue your service for as long as it works well for your household.

Tipping is always appreciated, but it isn’t expected. If you’d like to leave something extra for the cleaners who cared for your home, cash given directly to the team is the best way to make sure it goes straight to them.
